What Causes Pain In Left Abdomen?
I am a female. I am having a sharp abdominal pain on the left side only. It was so bad I was hunched over crying yesterday. The pain was a bit better today, but the pain still comes and goes. It is uncomfortable to sit in certain positions. I have had a low fever running about 99.3. My mom and sister both have cysts on their ovaries. I have not been checked for any. Do you think I could have a cyst that maybe ruptured? Is this something I should be concerned about?

I really appreciate your concern, certain condition are there which could cause such pain in lower region of abdomen, like infection may be due to stone, colicky abdomen pain, but it may not be rupture of cyst or not the cyst it self, for differentiation investigation is must, it may be matter of concern, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
