What Causes Pain In Left Shoulder After Cuff Repair Surgery?
i had cuff repair surgery on my left shoulder after a car accident ... during surgery it was reported that quote unfortunately, the CEPHALIC VEIN which lay directly under the incision was LACERATED and required exploration and formal ligation proximally and distally ? what does this mean to my recovery as i am in pain and find movement of my are restrictive. It is 3 months since the Op.
The report indicates that the vein was cut possibly during your accident though it was not complete. Ligation means that it was cut through properly during the procedure.
This itself would not cause the pain that you are experiencing. If there is no improvement in movement , you may need to be reviewed by your orthopedic doctor.
I hope this helps
