Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Sir , i have heavy pain in left shoulder and arm and also pain in waist . Xray for shoulder is normal and for waist Xray shows L5S1disk space compression . I have not sleep in night due to shoulder pain .left hand cannot move normally . Please help me .my age is 44 and no sugar no uric acid .
You have mentioned that you have been diagnosed with L5 S1 disk compression on x-ray.
It may be a cause of your symptoms as nerve compression can lead to pain and weakness in limbs. I would advise you to consult a neurosurgeon as soon as possible who will do a thorough neurological examination and may also advise an MRI.
Meanwhile, Tab. Gabapentin and an over the counter painkiller like Advil may help but you have to consult with your physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nazma.amman,
General & Family Physician
