What Causes Pain In Left Side Of Chest And Stomach?

My 13 year old daughter reports off and on stomach pain, stomach that makes really loud noises and occasional left sided chest pain. No changes in bowels, appetite, diet or weight. She states not noises like hunger noises-way louder & not like anyone else. Should I pursue these issues?

thank you for asking your concern and welcome to hcm. in a child of 13 year old this may be due to worm infestations. you can give one tablet of albendazole now and second tablet after one week. most of the time this treatment is enough if still symptom persists you can give antacid syrup occasionally. i would like to know whether your daughter's menstrual periods have been started or not if yes then this may happen initially. but for that no treatment is needed if you feel pain is more you can give half tablet of paracetamol during the need.
