What Causes Pain In Left Side Of The Chest?

It is difficult to be precise. I get random pains on the left side of my chest. Nothing terribly painful, but more like a muscular spasm. It lasts just a few seconds. Sometimes it occurs a few times within a short space of time and then so,etimes I may not notice it for a day or two. What could this be? This has been happening for almost a year.

Certain condition is common for such chest pain of short duration apart form the cardiac disease and these could be Hyperacidity and muscular pain, these can be treated with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day, and Tab Diclofenac 50 mg sustain release once in day, it is advisable to get done the EKG test as well, hope this information helps.
