What Causes Pain In Legs While On Medication For Hives?
My granddaughter broke out in hives last week, they gave her prednisone for five days, she forgot to take the one last pill Thurs. She is 10 and a half years old. She has been complaining about pains in her legs so bad that she can t walk and she cries with the pain. Her pediatrician thinks she has internal hives. Is this possible and for her to be in such pain? Should we take her to the hospital?

Yes, take her to a hospital! Give some coconut water, if electrolyte is the cause. If she can't walk then definitely a physical and radiography are needed.
