What Causes Pain In Liver?

I had regular blood tests done that include checking liver function. Mine have always come back normal including this most recent check. Physical exam found pain in my Liver. Ultra sound scheduled for Thursday. Any thoughts on what might cause the pain?

pain is usually related to ACUTE hepatitis which has many causes and you needs further evaluation.

liver enzymes (ALT,AST, GGT normal? bilirubin?
is hep A, B C viral serology Negative??
do a lipid profile test and and an "abdominal ultrasound".
are you using any medication that maybe toxic to liver?

further management depends on the result of aforementioned tests,
