What Causes Pain In Lower Abdomen And Frequent Urge To Urinate?

I have pain in lower hip area whenever I feel the need to go to the toilet. I also go to the toilet every 1 hour. Antibiotic is finished and onto my second packet already but it was only the pain when passing urine that has been fixed not the amount of time I go to the toilet. What could be the issue?

Hello dear user of HCM!
Thank you for sharing your concerns with us!

It seems to have been a complicated Urinary Tract infection.
Have you done any urine test?
If you haven't I would recommend to do it, and would be better if you do a culture of your urine. Basing on the findings of culture, you will take the sensitive antibiotic as you need.

If you have done it, then you should take the cure again for at least ten days regularly. I don't know what type of antibiotic you have used until now but I would recommend you Ciprofloxacin or Nitrofurantoin for 10 days at least.

Cranberry juice would help you heal quicker. Meanwhile is recommended to drink at least 8 glasses of water during a day.

I hope you will be fine soon.
Best regards!
DR ERIOL.
