What Causes Pain In Lower Abdomen During Intercourse?
Hello Me and my partner have been together for a long time (4 years know) and we have been having sexual intercourse for a while and we have one position we use a lot. But lately its been hurting me really bad.. when he goes all the way in like normal it hurts me. Like in my lower stomach. It goes a way when we switch position and it dont hurt anymore and i dont know why so i hope you can please help?
From the history above, it seems you have deep dyspareunia (pain during sexual intercourse on deep penetration). There could be many reasons , but common one is PID (pelvic inflammatory disease ). but other causes like ovarian mass, retroverted uterus or endometriosis may be the reason. It is better you consult the gynaecologist for physical examination and advice.
you may need to do some blood tests , urine test, ultrasound pelvic region etc to assist in the diagnosis.
hope the information given help you to solve your problem. Opinion given is based on the input provided in your question . Thank you
