What Causes Pain In Lower Back And Hip With Tingling Sensation On The Upper Thigh?

I am 58 yr old female with hip pain, lower back pain and now I realize the skin of my uppers high is numb/tingling Do I see my family physician? Last visit he prescribed flexiril and Rx naproxen sodium, or should I see a specialist, if so, what kind.

hi with your description of pain , it appears to arise from pressure on the nerves in spinal canal. I suggest you take consultation with an Orthopedic surgeon / Neuro surgeon.
