HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
It is possible that the pain may be related to
peripheral neuropathy.
This refers to abnormal function of the nerves outside of the brain and
spinal cord.
It can be temporary or permanent and there are different possible causes such as:(1) diabetes
(2)
vitamin b12 or folate deficiency
(3)side effect of medication
(4)liver or kidney disease
(5)trauma eg
arthritis at a joint can affect the nerve
(6)exposure to toxins
(7)infections such as shingles
(8)neurological condition such stroke or ms
If it continues or it is severe, then you should consider seeing your doctor for an assessment.
This would involve physical examination along with blood tests (
complete blood count, liver and kidney function, vitamin levels etc)
There are medications that can be used for nerve associated pain and treatment would also be directed towards the specific cause.
I hope this helps
