What Causes Pain In Lower Back With Nauseousness After Injury?

hi..last week i was working on my truck and a bolt freed very quickly... i slipped and landed on the tire iron.. it struck were my right kidney would be. there was no obvious bruising .. it hurts like hell still..at first the right side of my back felt extreamly tense.. and i feel nausious when itouch or bump it... the pain feels very internal.. but again...no bruising or discoloration... its notso sever that id go to the hospital or anything... could i have lightly bruised my kidney or something?

I have gone through your question and understand your concern. In my opinion, in this case X-RAY lower back, ultra sound abdomen and pelvis will be very helpful to diagnose if there is any internal injury. Bruise or no bruise every injury can be equally lethal and need a good examination. Lower back injury can be a muscular injury, spine injury or injury to kidney.
