Hi Dear,

Welcome to Heath Care Magic.

Well i am understanding your concern.

As there is an infection in your wisdom tooth which is cause of your lower jaw pain. Pain in jaw means when jaw joint become inflammed which may be because of tooth infection( abscess) , infection of overlying gum, cyst around affected tooth, gap between teeth which causes food lodgement over there which will build pressure and causes pain.

As antibiotics you took for the same it has resolved your infection and abcess swelling now subcided, pus is no more more there and it left with hard knot over that area.

You should do warm saline rinses, antibiotic gargles and if still your pain is there you should go to dentist for cleaning( scaling)around that particular area and if recommended by dentist and pain is getting worse you should go for extraction of wisdom tooth.

HOPE YOUR CONCERN HAS BEEN RESOLVED.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
