What Causes Pain In Lower Right Abdomen

I am a male, 50 years old. I had a UTI a couple of weeks ago. I was given antibiotics for 7 days. Since then, I still sometimes have slight pain on either side leading down to my private parts. Sometimes I also have a pain in the lower right abdomen or right side and sometimes it radiates toward the heart area or up the right side. My urine is normal, either very clear or straw colored. Been drinking 60 to 80 oz of water daily. Can t figure out what the problem is.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to recurrent infection.

I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen.

I also suggest using antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin.

I recommend to drink liquids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
