What Causes Pain In Lower Stomach While Having A Mesh For Hernia?
hello, I have had pain ever since I had mesh put in for a hernia. and I also had a tummy tuck that is not flat and I still can not lift somewhat heavier things. and my lower stomach hurts when I stand up to fast or I cough sneeze or laugh, is that normal. the surgery was two years ago

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like diarrhea , kidney infection , irritable bowel syndrome , appendix ,gallbladder stone or hernia . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , endoscopy along with stool test . Doctor may prescribe ornidazole , omeprazzole along with laxative and anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to general surgeon for surgery of hernia . For now avoid lifting heavy object , apply warm compresses on abdomen , eat light and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
