What Causes Pain In Lungs And Breathing Difficulty After Taking TB Medicine?
hi am suffering for Tuberculous pleural effusion on my right side of my chest. its being 5 months i have taking medicine(as instructed by DOTS Center). for time being all going good but after 4 month of taking medicine i felt unconformable with my breath and i feel pain in my lungs(right side) when i take a deep breath. is this Normal ?? can i be normal like before ??
thanks for asking your question i completely understand your problem actually you pleura is in stage of healing and when healing occurs in any part of body it heals with fibrosis .so when fibrosis occurs in pleura its called pleural fibrosis and that causes contraction of the pleura that leads to stretching ,this stretching of nerves causes pain ,this is a normal phenomenon in a case of pleural effusion. this fibrosis is permanent. this pain usually takes weeks to months to resolve. no need to panic i will not do any harm currently you can take some pain killers / analgesics for time being.
thanks/regards feel free to ask more questions may god bless you with good health
