What Causes Pain In Middle And Upper Abdomen?
I have been having pain in the middle and upper abdomen. There is some gas and gurgling sometimes. It has been a sharp pain. My upper right side was tender when pushed. I am still hungry and eating. I have been sticking to a bland diet. YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
From your symptoms,it seems that you may be having
Acid peptic disorder,
peptic ulcer disease,
duodenal ulcer etc.
I advise you to get an USG whole abdomen,
Upper G.I endoscopy,and
LFT done and review these reports with a gastroenterologist.
Meanwhile,you can have a ppi like rabeprazole along with itopride,
an antacid gel,
and an anti-cholinergic like dicyclomine tablet for severe pain.
An enzyme syrup would be beneficial.
