What Causes Pain In Ovaries And Rectum After Having Sex?
Last night I exercised walking on the stairs machine and squats with light weights and sit ups with a light weight ball. This morning I started filling really bad pain in my ovaries and my rectal. Does my work out have to do with any of this pain? Also last night I had sex with my husband. It was pretty rough, not anal though. Maybe it can be for this reason as well ? I just took a motion hope it helps. I need help on answers please.
The commonest cause I can think about are one of the following: * PID that is pelvic inflammatory disease * Twisted ovarian cyst * Salpingitis * Severe cystitis * Proctitis
This can be diagnosed by the following ways: * Consult a General surgeon or a gynecologist for clinical examination, per-vaginal examination * Ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis * Tests of blood, urine and stool
All these will lead to a proper diagnosis so that an appropriate management can be done. May need a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole, symptomatic and supportive management. Stop exercises and sex till you get diagnosed and relieved also.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
