What Causes Pain In Pelvic Area Inspite Of Being On Mirena Coil?

I have had the mirena for a little over 2 years. Here recently I have been having some pain in my left side in the pelvis area. About 2 1/2 weeks ago I was bleeding and passing blood clots all day. Thw next day nothing. I Took 2 pregnancy test and both came back negative. I still been having on and off pain in my left side. A couple of day ago I tried to find the string and I couldnt. I went to the bathroom earlier and I was bleeding again but only when I wipe. Should I be concernes? What are the chances that it is out of place?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the condition then you have to see the gynaecologist because it may need replacement, and other possible cause need to be ruled out too, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
