Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per the symtpoms you may have Chronic Granular Pharyngitis...

It happens due to continuous or long term irritation to the pharyngeal mucosa and the surrounding structures like tonsils..
It may be due to bacterial and viral infection.

Excessive exposure to cold can also cause infection and pharyngitis.

I would suggest you to get evaluated by an ENT specialist to find out the exact nature of disease..

I would suggest you to avoid very spicy food , smoking or drinking (if you do), and very cold food stuffs..

You can do warm saline gargles..
Betadine gargles to avoid any further infection..
Taking hot milk with a pinch of turmeric at night can help as it has antiseptic properties..

If pharyngitis is confirmed diagnosis antibiotics and antihistamines can be taken for relief..

If there are granules and does not cure by medicines Laser Ablation of granules can be done..

But a final diagnosis by ENT expert is mandatory for a successful cure..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
