What Causes Pain In Pinky Finger With Normal X-ray Report?

Hello, In October 2014 i bruised my pinky. Months later it was still in pain. So i went to the doctor to get x rays and they said that nothing was wrong and the X rays looked completely fine. There is no swelling or bruising but it hurts really bad if i pressed onto something or hold on to something forcing it onto my pinky or if i even bend it a little forwards.. But it doesn t hurt bending it backwards. My doctor said that maybe i am imagining the pain and its really not there. But it is and it s not going away at all.

Pain is still there with you and there is also tender ness in finger. But if x ray is normal then no need to worry. Don't concentrate on pain and do other work so your attention will focus on other work you will get rid of this pain.
