General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The cause for your diarrhea could be acute bowel infection most probably due to virus. The pH of the stool could have been acidic, this has lacerated rectal mucosa causing the pain you feel. I advise to:
- Keep good anal hygiene
- Apply prep H after having a bowel movement
- Take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora, and antacids to stabilize stomach pH. If still no improvement, should see a gastroenterologist for further investigations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
