What Causes Pain In Ribs And Rectum After Having A Bowel Surgery?
I am almost 1 month post op bowel surgery. They saw a mass on ct scan and was thinking it was a tumor but found nothing major during surgery. I have been healing well but last few days having pain in ribs/back area on right side but getting worse daily. I now have pain in rectal area when I cough or try to have bm although I did have bm yesterday. Just wondering if it something to worry about? No nausea or vomiting.
Dear friend I am Dr Kingson would like to answer your questions
Pain in rectum after a month of operation will not rule out carcinoma. If there is weight loss then you should reexamine again for early diagnosis of disease.
Nsaids will help you to minimize pain. Thank you
