What Causes Pain In Ribs Only In The Mornings?

still hurts; only in the morning when I wake up. Probably my 2nd or 3rd rib. The pain is pin pointed meaning I can point at it. Only hurts in the morning; after about 1 hour or less it stops hurting. My ribs ...i can t breathe in that time,I can t sleep

Hi,

It would have been better had you mentioned your age,site of chest pain(right/left).

Chest pain can be due to various causes like
cardiac origin chest pain,
musculoskeletal,
costochondritis etc.

If i were your treating doctor,i would have prescribed you some analgesics ,
advised you to get a chest x-ray and ECG done.
Hot fomentation would be helpful.

Review the investigation reports with your local doctor.
