What Causes Pain In Ribs While Breathing?

I have been diagnosed with pleurisy October 19th & it lasted for only 3-4days....Since then I have had no problem, until now. I cleaned the bathroom with bleach on Monday & since than my chest hurts when I breath & I even had pain in my rib. The pain in my ribs are gone, but it still hurts when I breath. Could this be my pleurisy or something else more serious due to the bleach inhalation?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of inhalation induced bronchitis is more in your case.
Bleach contains chlorine, fluorine etc. These chemicals, on inhalation, cause irritation and inflammation.
And these all lead to bronchitis. Bronchitis causes breathing difficulty.
Best treatment is inhalation of fresh air and avoidance of exposure.
Antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs are advised if coughing and pain are present.
Inhaled bronchodilators are needed if patient is having breathlessness.
So you needs inhaled treatment with antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
