What Causes Pain In Right Armpit And Shoulder?

Hi. I m 39 yr old female, smoker. I have severe pain under my right armpit, and the pain is in right shoulder blades as well. This pain started approximately 7 days ago.No chest pain, no wheezing, no blurred vision or headache. 2 weeks ago, my Dr. switched me from 10mg oxycodone to percocet 7.5-325. Could this be an allergic reaction to the Tylenol? Thank you in advance.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome to hcm,
I really appreciate your concern,
No Tylenol will not present with a arm pit swelling,
As per my opinion the symptoms which are presented are most commonly of lymphadenopathy which may be a cause of infections like tb, or malignancy,
As you are a smoker I advice you to get an ultrasound and x Ray of armpit done,
As of now percocet looks fine as it will symptomatically reduce pain,
Please let me know about your past history which will help me ruling out other conditions,
Please let me know if you have any questions,
Thanks. Regards.
