General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Your concerns are related with physiologic processes happening after childbearing. The contractions of uterus are the reason of these disturbances . They sometime may last for 4 to 6 weeks. Appendicitis doesn't give crampy pains as you describe. Try to use analgesics such as ibuprofen for relieving these pains. Be careful with your diet to avoid constipation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Julinda Maksuti, General Surgeon
