What Causes Pain In Right Pelvic Area While Taking Amoxycillin?

I have been taking Amoxycillin 500 mg three times a day for about 4 days now. Yesterday I started to have a pain in my lower right pelvic area. I am not running a fever and generally feel pretty good otherwise. I have used the bathroom 4 times today however. Occasionally the pain is sharp, but doesn't last more than a second or two. Could the amoxicillin be causing this?

Hi, i do care for your concern.
The symptoms said by you suggest more of an antibiotic induced colitis.
The antibiotics though kills more of the pathogenic bacteria, to some extent kills the normal symbiotic gut bacteria, which would cause symptoms as said by you.
It would advise to
take a course of pro-biotic tablets along with last course of antibiotic that would releive the symptoms.
