What Causes Pain In Right Side Below Ribs While Sitting Or Lying?
Hi, I ve been having as what I can only describe as a dull pain in my right side directly below my ribs. I went to the emergency room during my last flare-up, but they couldn t find anything wrong. It s worse when I sit or lay down. It does occur a while after eating or drinking. I m not sure what to do about it. It comes and last 2 or 3 days then goes away.
I went through your details. As you said that your doctors checked your right below rib area and could not find anything, you should not worry much about it. Doctors do not just say, they do all those essential investigations and then say conclusively. Therefore, it becomes easy for you to accept the verdict. Secondly, acidity and gastric symptoms can cause such pain when the gas pushes the diaphragm up. Engage in exercise and physical activities and stretch yourself. You will be alright.
