What Causes Pain In Right Side Of The Abdomen Post Child Birth?

I gave birth 2 weeks ago and I m already back to work. I have pain on my right side when I touch it. When I breath it hurts. I m not sure if its kidney. I don t have temperature or burning when i go to the bathroom. What could this paid be. It started last night and its not going away.

Although you have not mentioned but I take it that you didn't have cesarean delivery.

Most probably you have muscle pain as you would have done physical activity after a long break. Since you don't have fever and burning urination, infection is unlikely. You feel pain on touch, that again indicates muscle related problem.

You take pain killers (paracetamol 500mg as required or ibuprofen 600mg) and you will be fine. If persists or any additional symptom appears please visit a doctor immediately.
