What Causes Pain In Shoulder And Back After Drinking Any Cold Item?
I have severe left shoulder/back pain after drinking cold things. I m thinking g it s maybe too quickly, like if it was brain freeze, but feels like I could be having a heart attack, without the shortness of breath. After googking, the closest thing I ve come up with is hiatal hernia. What is this?!

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to esophageal irritation. Recurrent gastric acid reflux can give this. Therapy with proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole and motility enhancers like domperidone or 4 weeks will be helpful for this. Avoid spicy and fatty foods and junks. Carbonated drinks, alcohol , too hot or too cold drinks should be avoided also. taking vitamin C daily is also helpful. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
