What Causes Pain In Testicles And Ribs Along With Cough?
Hi, I am a 19 year old male and about two months ago I was diagnosed with epididymis. Since then most of the testicular pain has gone away, but about a month ago I developed a cough and random pain in ribs that comes and goes. I am worried that I had testicular cancer that spread to my lungs. Should I be worried or am I just overreacting?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Cough and pain in the ribs is caused due to respiratory infection. It can be treated with antibiotics and anti-tussive agents. You are unnecessarily thinking about testicular cancer and its spread to lungs. Well, on treatment for your testicular infection, it must be cured as of now. In case you have a doubt about cancer, you can get a scrotal ultrasound scan done to know about the status of your testis. Kindly consult Physician for management of your chest symptoms. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
