What Causes Pain In The Abdomen And Back Along With Delayed Periods?

We are planning for a baby.this month I felt abdominal and back pain in the third week of my period.my period date is 26 th of this month.this month 20 th I went to hospital and visited gynaecologist.she advised me to take folsafe tablets for one month.i m using folsafe tables since 6 days.i haven t got my period till today.please let me know what happened?

Hi, I think you should do a urine pregnancy test at home to rule out pregnancy first. If test is negative, you can wait for one more week and repeat the test if periods don't come. If negative, take some medicines like meprate or deviry for inducing periods. It can happen due to some stress factor also. Hope I have answered your question.
