What Causes Pain In The Abdomen And Right Testicle?

Hello, my husband is 20 he was born 7/1/1996. He is having pain in his abdomen and his right testicle. I am worried this is not the first time he has had this it is two times now. We do not have money to go to urgent care. We went two times and we are still trying to pay off the bills. What can I do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your 20 year old husband and understood your concerns.
Recurrent pain in right testis and abdomen is indicative of the following in a young man of 20.
It can be recurrent torsion. Torsion causes referred pain in the abdomen on the same side nearby the umbilicus. The pain is severe, starts suddenly in the testicle wherein the patient has to bend due to pain, it is unbearable.
This can be confirmed by urgent ultrasound with color doppler examination.
If the pain is dull, continuous along with urinary symptoms of pain, burning, urgency or so, this can be due to epididymitis and/or orchitis.
This again can be confirmed by ultrasonography and color doppler examination.
Irrespective of the financial status these things need to be done to confirm and to get the correct management done to avoid future attacks and to keep the testicle in functioning position
