What Causes Pain In The Arch Of Foot Upon Pressure?

Hi, the arch of my foot has been hurting for a few days now, but the pain subsides when I m not standing on it, or if I walk with my heel lifted. It also feels as though there are bubbles in arch. Massaging sometimes helps the pain subside too. Any ideas on what it could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Arches of foot are the main skeletal structure that keep us standing and distributes our weight on feet. Sometimes exertion and use of heel over stretch tendons and joints in arches. Use topical voltral gel twice daily and crepe bandage. Keep your feet in hot saline water for 30 minutes daily. You will be better soon.
