What Causes Pain In The Arches Of The Feet?
What are possible causes of foot pain (arch and big toe)? My husband has had ultrasound and x-rays, and nothing was detected. Initially, he was treated for gout and put on colchecine, but after bloodwork, it was determined that his uric acid levels were within normal range. We have been to our primary care physician and a podiatrist, with no relief. I don t know what else to do. We have put ice packs on it all day :(((( Are you serious??? Forget it!!

This is a case of plantar fascitis. GIve Cap gabapentin(300) once daily for 5 days. Also, alternate hot and cold sponging will relieve the pain and discomfort.
