What Causes Pain In The Arms Upon Moving It?

My right arm is hurting, started this morning and has gotten progressively worse all day. If I move it, it is a sharp, stabbing pain. If I keep it still it is very achy, pain level very high. Tried an ice pack, then heat, a Salonpas patch and finally, aspercreme. Nothing helps. What should I do?

Hi welcome to HCM...

You are having acute history of arm pain while moving ...

It could be muscular strain pain or could be from fracture as well if history of fall and if swelling there .....

Local part x ray should be done. ...

Meanwhile avoid movement that cause pain and take ibuprofen for inflammation relief....

Also check your calcium level and if low cholecalciferol sachet in milk also should be started once week for 8 week..
