What Causes Pain In The Back And Numbness In The Left Leg?
my husband has been experiencing pain in his back and numbness in his left leg and has muscle weakness in it. Also numbness in the anal area. He has been to chiro that has stated his lower two lumbar disc are compressed and feels he can help this in three treatments. He is practically immobile and wondering if we should consult an ortho spine doctor for a cortisone shot or other something .really just concerned at this point with the numbness. He is taking a nerve pill and ibroprofen for the pain. the pain is actually manageable but the numbness is worrisome. Can you suggest what else we might can do or if this is just going to take some time.
