Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For several days I ve had a pain in my back by my right shoulder blade. It s very uncomfortable and annoying. If I move my arm certain ways it s really hurts. I ve been trying to work it out by movement/massage but it still hurts. I don t really remember aggravating/hurting it in any way but it feels like a pulled muscle but it s not getting better and it s been hurting for about five to six days. Any thoughts as to what this is? It s not really a a sharp/stabbing pain but more of a constant thing.
It could be a musculoskeletal pain. As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like acetaminophen or diclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
