Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I got woke up yesterday morning with a headache in the back of my head. I never have headaches so this is unusual for me. It still hurts today, it hurts when I would turn my head side to side and when I would bend or look down. Earlier today, it was like a throbbing(almost like a heartbeat) inside my head. What could this be?
You just need to relax and do some neck strengthening excercises as you may have developed a cervical pain as it hurts on movement, but for proper diagnosis and confirmation, you should consult an orthopaedician who can help in a better way. Meanwhile you can apply some local painkiller gels or sprays to combat pain. Please do not keep your neck steady at one place for longer durations especially on computers, keep it moving. Lower down your pillow size, strengthen your neck muscles by excercises.
Hope that helps
Thanks
