What Causes Pain In The Ball Of The Foot?

Pain in the ball of my feet almost feels like blister but not one Had swelling in my ankle and legs a few days ago but no any more. Was checked for blood clot blood work was good and ekg was fin. I take Ned s for high blood pressure but last week I ate a lot of jerky which was very salty.
