What Causes Pain In The Buttock Radiating To The Leg?
I am have a lot of pain with sciatic nerve going from my butt and down the leg. Very painful when I try to walk. I have two medication from a recent knee replacement. Tizanidine Hcl Tabs 2 Mg 2 tablets every 8 hrs as needed and Gabapentin 300 mg take 1 tablet a bedtime when needed. I haven t taken any of the Gabapentin and very few of the Tizanidine. Would either of these help the Sciatic nerve pain?

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to neuropathic pain. In such cases gabapentin and tizanidine will be helpful. Gabapentin is helpful to relieve neuropathic pain and muscle relaxant tizanidine will be helpful to relieve muscle spasm caused due to this.
