General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Pain do occur after falls and it's sometimes for a few days. Most of the times it not serious and would settle in sometimes. If the pain is not very severe, and she is able to walk, and otherwise not very sick, I would say there is no need to worry a lot. She can use some.

Over the counter painkiller to relieve the pain. It would settle in a few days. If the pain is too much she should be taken for an X-ray.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
