What Causes Pain In The Buttocks And Hips On The Left Side?
I have pain in my left butt and left hip extends to groin. Also goes down my leg to my foot in certain positions. I had right hip surgery 6 mo ago and wore a brace and used a walker for 6 wks. I could not put pressure on that leg for that time period. I was wondering if it could be sciatica from favoring the other leg for so long??

Hi,
Your symptoms seem to be related to sciatica pain. I suggest you to use anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen three times a day. I also suggest using steroid creams for local application. Heat compresses can also help in relieving he symptoms.
