What Causes Pain In The Buttocks Down The Leg After Taking Rocephin?
Was recently prescribed Rocephin for kidney infection. Dealing w/ pain that moves from my buttock (the injection site) down the back of my leg. Then today after the 2nd dose, begin to feel chest pain and my heart fluttering. The side effects lists both of these as normal, however, how long should I expect them to last? The chest pain is really intense and more worrisome.

Injection Rocephin (Cephtriaxone sodium) is known to cause common adverse effects as:
LOCAL REACTIONS - Pain, in -duration , tenderness, redness at injection site at buttock the pain also get refereed to leg. Phlebitis was reported in
Pain chest with palpitations are also known to take place.
If these side effects are mild tolerable the medication should continue , otherwise antibiotic be changed & symptomatic treatment for side effects be instituted.
