What Causes Pain In The Cheek After A Tonsillectomy?

My daughter had surgery 6 days ago. Tonsillectomy adenoidectomy and tube placement. She was doing better yesterday but last night and today she cries and screams and says it hurts to eat and she tells us her cheek. Points straight to middle of cheek. Even woke her up from sleep

There is a possibility of secondary infection in that throat or in cheek bones contain sinuses lead to Infection.

Please consult your ENT specialist, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
