Hi,Am a 48yrs old male, I came off my mtb Friday night and the metal upstands on my handlebars went in to my left side of my chest, I can only take shallow breathes as deeper ones really hurt, when I cough or laugh it really hurts as well. Should I go and get it checked out at hospital?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As you hit by handlebars and having chest pain. So kindly do chest X-ray and ultrasound to rule out fracture or hematoma. Kindly take tablet Diclofenac after orthopedician consultation. You may require a chest belt.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale,
