Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain In The Chest Radiating To The Back After A Mammogram?
After a very painful mammogram a year ago I began to experience pain around my lower right rib cage. My doctor sent me for stomach scan but I m not sure if any issue was found. I am currently having sporadic pressure in that area which radiates into my back. What could cause this.
The pain below right rib cage points towards the liver problem, gallstone or intestinal problem. I suggest you to investigate with ultrasonography abdomen to look for any specific underlying organic cause if present. According to the cause-specific treatment given.
I suggest you consult a physician for a detailed evaluation.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
General & Family Physician
