What Causes Pain In The Chest While Breathing?

Hello I am 18 years old and I have chest pains when I breathe. About 3 weeks ago I was having chest and left arm pains/weakness, I waited 5 days before going to the hospital, they did 2 ECG,s and other tests and they said it was severe anxiety. After that my physical and mental state improved drastically but I still get wierd feelings like a pounding heart when I stand up and breathing chest pain. Can anxiety really cause my symptoms? Thanks for reading.

Hi,

In fact anxiety can mimic all kinds of conditions. If your test have shown everything is normal, then please learn to relax and do not think about having any specific problems either related to heart or lungs or any vital organ. There are number of relaxation techniques which help in keeping your thought process positive and help over come such feelings. Learn those and practice, that will help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
