What Causes Pain In The Face Post A Partial Parotidectomy?

Hi Dr. I had a partial parotidectomy two years ago and still have a lot of pain in my face and jaw due to face peeling back during op. Problem I have now noticed is apart from tinitus the hearing g in my ear on the operation side is diminished . What should I do please?

Hi.
Thanks for the query.

Well pain in cheek and face can be due to nerve related causes that might have injured during the surgery..

Secondly if there are any how joint associated dysfunction then it can also be a cause..

Tinnitus and hearing loss can also be an associated complication of the Surgery but once you should get an ear examination done to rule out and ear related problems that can cause Tinnitus and hearing loss..
An MRI SCAN can further be diagnostic..
